Hi-Per Gloves

To be fair, I have just about 100 miles on the bike with these gloves, but I find they are true to size and I suspect they will get better as I break them in. I really like the details engineered into these gloves. Great tactile connection to my controls, they are lightweight with heavyweight protection. Looking forward to the next 1000 miles and more. I can only hope they last as long as my Sedici's did.

Great gloves. When I pulled them out of the packaging and tried them on, they felt like they were custom made for me. Per Brian Van's video breakdown on the Racer gloves, I went up one full side (from Large to X-Large) and they fit perfectly. Unfortunately, the first time I rode with them, I got to crash test them. I had a ~90MPH low-side crash. While one of the palms was ripped after the crash, my hands were completely unscathed. Last time I had a similar crash, my SPIDI gloves also ripped, and left my hands road rashed. I would absolutely recommend these to anyone riding on the track. Just be aware, the amazing comfort these gloves give you may translate to a "one and done" crash life.

These are my first set of gauntlet style gloves and they have far exceeded my expectations. They are very comfortable, break in is minimal, and they feel very secure. I definitely don't want to wreck in them but I'm very confident my hands are in good ... hands? in case I did. I'm excited to get them out on the track for my first event in a couple months. 10/10 will continue buying these gloves, I paid half the price of some of the bigger brands and I feel I have more protection in these than the other gloves I tried on. Palm sliders are apparently a deluxe feature when you are looking at name brand gloves and will cost you $400+ They also look super cool if that matters to you. Let's be honest, it matters to all of us deep down.

Absolute amazing gloves and customer service was amazing

I ordered a size XL (Hi-Per glove model) which is what the sizing chart shows for my hand measurements. I also emailed Van to confirm the sizing recommendation is correct. My hand measurements are: Circumference: 9 1/8" length: 7 7/8" For the Hi-Per glove this is a size XL. Actual fit result: Finger length is correct. The web of the glove between each finger is fully seated into the web between each of my fingers. There is only a slight amount of extra space at the tip of my pinky and ring fingers. Middle and index finger are both a closer fit length-wise compared to the pinky and ring fingers. The width of the glove is slightly loose around the circumference of my hand. Specifically at the sides of my hand where the knuckle protection is. Important point regarding fit: The webbing of the glove between my index finger and thumb fits perfectly into my hand at that point. This is probably the most important point with proper glove fit because this is where your hand rests against the handlebar grip, and being well fitted here means your hand can rest against the grip and still allow for your index and middle fingers to fully extend and retract to manipulate the clutch and brake levers. Overall, the size XL is a good fit for me. The sizing chart, as well as Van's recommendation via email were correct for me.

The Hi-Per glove fit great outta the box and have just gotten better with time. Incredible protection and super comfortable even for street riding. Will only be buying Racer gloves going forward!

These are the best fitting gloves I've ever worn. Amazing quality and I've tested them three times on the pavement. Once at 130 MPH crashing in T4 in Daytona and my hands are safe!

They are the best gloves I've worn. They are light weight, and very protective. When I put them on for the first time I didn't even have to wear them in before I road. And They feel super good on the bike. I would recommend this to anyone who's in search of great quality gloves.

Hi, First, I would like to thank your support team for all their help. I've worn the gloves on a couple of rides, and I have to tell you that they are awesome. However, I wanted to bring up one thing: the glove fingers are a little bit longer than my fingers, which makes braking a little harder than usual. I'm not sure if there's any solution for this issue. Regards, Laszlo

Really great gloves, much approved over my alpinestars. They were super helpful with the return process when my first order didn't fit.

These gloves are a perfect fit. Took the measurements, compared them to the size guide, and now I have the perfect fitting glove. The quality is higher than any other glove I have tried. The palm is super soft and the feeling through the gloves is amazing! I'm in love with these gloves and I will not be going back to my old brand.

The product is excellent, but the customer service is the best part! I’m new to riding and ordered an XL pair of gloves that I thought would fit, but when I got them they were just a bit too big. I called and spoke to Lee who gave me a great breakdown of the product line as well as recommendations for other gear and plenty of other little tips. The large gloves that I wanted instead were out of stock for a little while, but Lee kept me posted with updates as often as was possible. When I did end up receiving the gloves, the fit flawlessly and I can’t recommend them enough. Very comfortable and a perfect fit right out of the box. Highly recommend.

The folks at Racers are insanely cool, and the gloves themselves are waaaay beyond my expectations, which were high to begin with. These gloves are, simply put, amazing.

My second pair of Racer gloves. Previous pair lasted 7 yrs of year round use. Decided to go up a grade from the Grip mdl. Bought the Hy-Per for more protection even though I’m not a sport bike rider. Gloves are snug but expect them to loosen up a bit after time, just like my last pair. Length for me XL is just right. Well made gloves. Thanks Lee for the excellent service

Racer gloves are built better than many of the most popular (and expensive) brands. The fingers fit perfect, and the width is just right. My advice is to use the hand measurement over the finger length to get the right fit for you. They are super comfortable when you first put them on, and only get better with time. Truly, they fit my hands like they were custom made for me and I couldn't be happier. No stray threads, and everything is symmetrical between the left and right gloves. Thanks Racer for such a quality product!

Purchased these gloves per a recommendation from a friend. I've struggled with many gloves fitting my hands properly and cramping my hands up. These racer gloves fit my hands perfectly. A small amount of break in wearing them around the house was required but then the gloves felt fantastic. Just took them to a track event and was blown away with how much dexterity I still had while being wildly comfortable. Will definitely be purchasing another set of Racer Gloves for street use.

Second pair after my last ones lasted 5 years of abuse. They fit amazing right out of the bag and offer the best protection. I’ll never buy another brand!

Glove feels great, they do run small, so when order, order 1 size bigger than the normal glove size.

Man these Hi-Per gloves are amazing! Literally felt so amazing! One sesh in them and that’s all I needed they felt Golden! Would definitely recommend these to anyone looking into getting gloves. Already thinking of getting a second pair. They do run smaller so bump up a size from what you normally wear. Cheers to more racing in these amazing gloves!

Out of the box these Hi-Per glove fit incredibly well, as a matter of fact, they fit as nicely as my 5 year old A-Stars, and seem better constructed to boot! Palm and finger tip feel is really great for a brand new glove also. This is my second set of Racer Gloves, both purchases replacing an A-Stars product, I’m left feeling that each time I have traded up in quality, feel and protection! Well done Racer Gloves!

I have been wearing Racer gloves for almost 10 years. My first pair saw at least 5 high speed crashes and still held up! I am looking forward to getting on the track with my new Hi-Per glove. These are the best gloves hands down to keep you safe on the track!

Great gloves. Very comfortable . Used them at the track last weekend and the fit and feel better than other premium brands i've used. Palm measures 9" and size large spot on. Did take a couple rides to break in .Very happy with them and my new go to gloves for track and sport street riding

Fits perfectly!

I am between a large and extra large. I tried the large in the top of the line and it fit well. This one runs a touch smaller. The leather if supple and they might stretch enough. Control feel is good. Tight to get on but no issues once on track.

I needed a new set of gloves ASAP for an upcoming track day. I called Lee on a Thursday and had them delivered on Saturday in time for Sundays track day. Fit a feel are awesome. Perfect out of the box. Tight race fit with no palm bunching or extra finger tip length. I did try on the Hi Racer, and the Hi Per at a local shop. I found the Hi Racer to be long and narrow compared to the Hi Per. I have short wide hands and the Hi Per fit perfect. I measured my hand and compared it to the fit guide. It was dead on. I am not sure if my assessment of width is accurate as I only tried on two styles, but that was my experience. Maybe Racer can clarify whether the gloves are short wide relative to long narrow in their description. Overall 5 stars, couldn't be happier.

I’ve worn Racer Gloves for several seasons and they’re absolutely the best, most comfortable gloves I’ve ever worn. Almost no break-in time with fantastic fit and on-controls feel right out of the package. They’ve also proved to protect my hands really well when I’ve had the ‘opportunity’ to test out their protection capability. Hands down recommended for anyone looking for a great pair of gloves.

Great fit and feel right out of the box. Very similar fit and protection as the High Speed glove, I’m exciting to use these on the race track in the near future.

One of the most comfortable gloves I have used. The goat leather palm is the difference!

These are nice gloves The leather is super soft and feels amazing. Fitment for me personally is a little off I guess I’ve got short fingers, I measured correctly as the palms are nice n snug but some of the fingers are a bit long. Otherwise I’m very pleased with the gloves.

Love these gloves, they truly are the best fitting gloves you can buy! The strike the perfect balance between fit, comfort, and protection. I get the right amount of movement and flexibility, without sacrificing comfort and the ability to protect my hands during a crash.
